RD began in the interior design industry in 1981 with Don R. Reid Interior Design in Amarillo, Texas. He worked with some of the most high profile clientele in the nation including T. Boone Pickens, JA Whittenburg and Sybil Harrington. During this time, RD travelled coast to coast installing custom furniture in yachts, ranches, Beverly Hill’s Mansions and estates.

In 1986, RD moved to Dallas and began working under Delivery Limited’s founding owner, Steve Erspamer’s tutelage. RD quickly learned the nuances of white glove operations and worked with high profile clientele like Troy Aikman and Ross Perot. During his time, Delivery Limited grew from 10 employees to over 50 employees. RD became vice president of Delivery Limited in 1990. Delivery Limited was sold in 2001.

One of Delivery Limited’s larger clients, Sherry Hayslip owner of Hayslip Design Associates, purchased a small courier service company, Eveready Services, Inc. At Ms. Hayslip’s invitation, RD accepted a position as general manager in 2001. Under RD’s guidance, Eveready was transformed into a full-service delivery and installation company going from 3 employees to 40 employees and operating from a 40,000 square foot facility. Some of the clients RD provided services for included Jerry Jones, Kelcy Warren and Don Henley. In May of 2020, Eveready was sold.

It is now with great expectation, that RD will duplicate his proven track record as a part owner of Avance’. RD’s long relationships with many key clients and contractors in the industry; as well as an in-depth knowledge of the DFW market is an irreplaceable resource. No one individual is better suited to ensure Avance’s success.
